Martin Martini reunited with the Bone Palace Orchestra for two shows at Bar Open in February. Veteran fans were pleased to see the cult band return in honour of SLAM (Save Live Australian Music) Day.
I attended the show on the 24th, and was lucky enough to see the original line-up have fun with the classics, including Get on The Moth, a crowd favorite.
The Bone Palace Orchestra disbanded in 2009. Their Funeral Show featured a procession, a eulogy and an evening of tributes. Martini promised that there would be no comebacks, but for this cause an exception was made.
